The rooms at the Park Place B & B were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We were able to stay connected with hostess, Sica via text. Key and Key Pad info were provided in advance of our arrival so we were able to access the room easily upon our arrival. Sica was very accommodating. This is very conveniently located near the Sanford Historic District, Lake Monroe and various Parks. It is a perfect location.

Sica met me there and showed me around. A great place I would stay again and recommend

What was described on the website is exactly what you received. The neighborhood was residential, quaint and easy to drive to restaurants and small convenience stores. St. Mary's Lake are….super cute. Sica was responsive via email

Although we did not meet Sica she was very easy to communicate with both before and during our visit. The place was ever nicer than the pictures portrayed. We did not see the tea room or patio as we were gone most of the stay. The neighborhood was cute and quiet. The downtown had nice restaurants and shops but they close quite early. The place was very comfortable, the bed was nice, the towels extremely soft, the kitchen and bath very clean. We would definitely recommend staying here and certainly would come back.

We were really enjoy the time in this house. The house is big and clean. Ms. Sica is very friendly to us. She helped us a lot. When we need the kettle and hair dryer, she brought new kettle and hair dryer just in one day. And she also bought the toaster and coffee for us. She is really nice person.

Sica's place was just as described and was the perfect spot for a nice evening in Sanford and a resting spot on our journey to South Florida. Sica was very accommodating and gave us ample information in order to enjoy the little time we had around Sanford. I recommend stopping by Mount Dora just to the west of Sanford as well. Thanks for the nice stay Sica. Neil

This home was a very nice choice. This was my first experience with AIrBnB and it worked very well. Sica's offering was cozy and charming. The kitchen was useful and it was nice having. The room is quiet and pleasant. The patio is very nice to hang out and seat. Location is close to downtown Sanford and you can easily walk to restaurants and shopping. Sica was very nice and easy to communicate with at all hours.

This is our favorite Airbnb stay to date, a truly amazing apartment totally tricked out in early 1900's antique style, like having your private room in a mansion back in the day. Crazy Special. Nice kitchen area, loved the open shower area, beautiful up to date bathroom. Very Clean. We didn't get to meet Sica but she was over the top gracious in our texts and emails as we had a couple of special requests which she granted immediately. She'd stocked the fringe with basically a Continental B'fast, so thoughtful. It was so cool that she allowed us to bring our two little dogs, a yorkie and a pommie. It's a very nice neighborhood, we felt totally safe as we took several long walks with our dogs. You are very close to old downtown Sanford, loaded with cool quaint restaurants and pubs. It's about 10 blks away. I also left behind a very expensive dental mouthpiece and Sica went out of her way to gather it up and overnight to us back at home… I don't think you can go wrong with this property and it's gracious host, Sica.

I came in Sanford Florida for family reasons. I decided to try airB&B for a rental. This was my first experience with AirB&B. Sica's cottage stood out among all the other rental's for various reason. I wanted to stay in an apartment, with my adult daughter. I did not want to stay in a private home. I wanted to stay in a historical location. I wanted to be local.I needed a quite setting to return too. which the cottage is. Scia's cottage efficiency apartment was a perfect retreat from our daily schedule. We stayed there for 3 day's. The cottage was just the right size for two. Not too big and not too small. I like the idea of a keyless entry. It made things easy. No keys to pickup or drop off. Her Wifi work every day while we was there. The location was wonderful. Its is close to the airport and close to where my family lives. We walked to lake Monroe on Saturday afternoon. The local's were nice and polite to us. We wondered the area like tourist in the early morning. I found the setting just like she describe in her posting. The bed was comfortable. The shower was amazing,we loved all the tile work. I made use the kitchen. it had everything we needed. There is no stove, but we did not need anyway. She had so many other appliances. I love the antiques in the room it was the perfect setting. Not cluttered at all. The ground's were nice. There was so much to see, inside and outside. I only wish we had are time to enjoy the courtyard. The cottage was lit up at night by wonderful white light's. It was a great suprise! The curiatin on the door made it easy to sleep.

Sica was a wonderful host. I had everything I needed in a clean, charming, and uniquely decorated haven.

Sica was very warm and welcoming, She called to verify arrival time to make sure she was there in good time to deliver the keys and give a house tour, We totally enjoyed our stay and everything was so nice,! Great bed, very well decorated place, was as described and much more! All was well,. Great stay! Thank you Sica, we love you!

Sica's place was just delightful. It is just as precious and kitschy as the pictures suggest. The place has a ton of character, and we had a blast staying in what felt like a life size dollhouse. The location is everything, with downtown Sanford and all the great bars & restaurants just a few blocks away. The keypad entry is super convenient, and we loved not having to worry about a late check-in or keeping track of a set of keys. There were stacks upon stacks of fresh towels, snacks in the fridge, and everything we wanted to do within walking distance–the neighborhood it's in is nice, so we felt perfectly safe walking, even late night. Sica is really great about communication and makes booking a snap. If you enjoy eclectic decor, antiques & the offbeat vibe of downtown Sanford this place is a fun getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It's in a beautiful gated community and in a perfect location being only a mile or so from sugar mountain. The home is beautiful and has everything you would need. Would definitely stay there again!

We found Sica's little home to be charming and unique. It was full of quaint lamps and items which were interesting, but made it difficult to maneuver around in the place. It was hard to figure out where to put our stuff. The bed was quite comfortable and although unusual due to the fact that it was not enclosed, the shower was clean and fully functional. There is no real stove, but between the toaster oven, a microwave and fridge, we found the place filled our needs with regards to food prep. The place seemed a little stuffy and would improve with some better ventilation. There is an air conditioner provided but you can't open the window and you can't leave the door open without being on display to all the coming and going that is happening in the driveway. There was a lot of activity in the adjacent building during the day and many cars and trucks parked in the parking lot at night. I found Sica difficult to connect with. She was not responsive when I initially booked or after I e-mailed her twice. I finally called her directly to confirm the booking and she answered, but when we got there I was again not able to reach her

It is definitely a comfortable apartment to stay for vacation. Sica is a very nice landlord. She confirmed my reservation and contacted me immediately. I really like to stay in her apartment.

Sisca is a excellent host. She made me feel welcome and her studio was set up with the essentials items and you find only in a hotel. The studio is decorated exactly like in the pictures. It is beautiful. The neighborhood is nice and quite and just minutes from Downtown, close to banks and restaurant. I really appreciate the prompt attention she provided in order for me to log in and use the internet. I will definitely will rent from Sisca next time I am in Sanford.

Robert Nolen

My husband stayed here and enjoyed every minute of it. Quiet, in the heart of Sanford, and perfect for him. Had very little interaction with host, but every one was warm & courteous. She really loves this place and it shows. Clean and spacious, great bed, and very user friendly. My husband stayed here for almost 2 weeks, and would come back in a an instant. One of the true "gems" of AirBNB.

Sica is a great host and the place was roomy cute snd imacculate. Communication was outstending as well. Best stop for AUTOtrain travelers! Looking forward to my next stay. Thank you Sica.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little "studio." The location was perfect; very close to downtown Sanford. There were fluffy robes, plenty of clean towels, and the sheets were divine! We both slept so soundly during our one-night's stay. We didn't mind the open shower, but I can see how the lack of privacy would bother some. The wifi signal was weak, but I was able to connect on both my cell phone and tablet. The iPad, however, was unable to connect. We had no problems with the upstairs neighbors or the catering business. I texted Sica a few times with questions, and she responded almost immediately. I definitely recommend this as a cozy little getaway location.

We were flying out on Allegiant Air on an 8:00 flight and discovered Sica's place is the closest we found. Very reasonably priced, cozy and comfy. AND a short drive to the airport. Lovely kitchen and bath and furnishings, although it is somewhat similar to sleeping in a small antique shop so probably not suitable for small children! No stove so either eat out or bring some food, there is no stove. The Tea Shop next door was closed as it was Easter Sunday and I was sincerely disappointed as I was looking forward to having tea but — maybe next time!

Nice little place - a little hard to find for us :)
Super kind host - everything worked perfectlig.

Very charming and well-appointed apartment. The bed was heavenly to sleep in. But the shower was truly a treat-I want one just like in my own home now! The apartment is equipped with everything you could want for dining in, but we ate out every meal so did not avail ourselves of it much. It's a short drive to downtown and was a quiet neighborhood. Overall a very cozy and comfortable stay in a nice Central Florida town- One of our best AirBnB experiences to date.

Sica's cottage was a wonderful place to stay for my boyfriends birthday weekend! It was very close to downtown Sanford which made exploring very easy. She has everything you need in her beautiful place (mini fridge/freezer, toaster oven, plates etc.) and not to mention the awesome shower. There is cable tv for those that need it but no wifi (we planned most our activities ahead of time so this wasn't an issue for us). It was a great weekend and Sica's place is very welcoming and unique. I recommend staying here if you are in the area! One last thing, if you are needing ice for anything then I suggest picking some up before you check in or there is a little convenient store down the street. Happy Travels! Andrea & Ashraf

Everything was wonderful! Your attention to detail is fantastic and it shows in the upkeep of your cottage.

This was a very lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend it! The bed was extremely comfortable and it was nice and roomy in the room/loft. Perfect for two people! It looks exactly as the pictures show it. Very quiet at night, as well, as there was very little to no traffic on that street that I was aware of overnight. The location is perfect. It is less than a mile walk to Downtown Sanford. We were able to walk to dinner the night we stayed here. We found Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe. If you like authentic German food and a great (fun) experience, this is the place to go! Highly recommended as well! My husband and I are ready to come back just so we can eat there.

Sica's charming cottage provided a most restful retreat for me, prior to a lengthy trip beginning with the AutoTrain the next day. Her description and pictures give just a hint of the quiet ambience! Loved the decor and comfy bed, ample fluffy towels, and the shower is discreetly off to the side, providing some privacy! If I had been staying longer, I would have liked the use of a microwave, but, otherwise, I would highly recommend the cottage.

Hi Sica, I so enjoyed my stay and so appreciated the devotional book by the bed - my Mom had past away the previous week, my husband four months ago. It has been a tough road for me and my family lately, but we have a loving God who directs our path and He brought me to your cottage for part of the healing process. Could you kindly give me the name of the small devotional book by the bedside - I took cell phone pictures of a couple of the pages to take with me on my trip and to share with others - but I didn't get it's name. Thanks and God bless your path wherever He leads! Anne

Response from Sica:
Dear Anne, I just wanted to let you know your message was deeply heart felt and brought tears up! I am so thankful you felt coming to our cottage was God's intended rest for your healing path and that you found HIS DIVINE HAND and blessing in our place!! We sure feel this is true, we have created it to become just so, and we could not be more grateful for your testimony which if we may, we will share with others who share with us GOD's love! Sarah Young calls the book you are referring to ?Jesus Calling?. It can be found sometimes at Costco or on (website hidden). Thank you for your blessing, Like you in the last 6 years I lost six members of my family including last year my dad… MAY GOD KEEP YOU and BLESS YOU! Sica

This studio was perfect. I fell in love with Sanford - a wonderful walk-able community. We were a 10 minute drive from the Sanford/Orlando Intl Airport and had a fabulous evening walking the 13 blocks to the downtown with a lake. The studio is one-room with lots of seating and an awesome bed. There is little privacy as the shower is in the main room. I found it romantic and fun!
